It took me 8yrs to save enuf money to get my dream bike, watching it slide down the street won't be my best memory. After a weekend at the strip i thought she deserved a bath, now i'm sure all of you already know that washing your bike at the local carwash might not be the best thing to do...guess it would be okay if ur smart enuf not to ride thru that green bug and tar remover on ur way out to main street during church traffic. Yeah, so a "brrp" a "oh $%!&" and then a "what the *$!! just happened" and there she laid, 10 feet away on her side. So at about a $100 a foot i think i could use some help finding a few used parts. 10 hours on the computer and nothing but new. 1/4 of what i paid for the bike new. Sure she's worth it, just that i'm broke,{only way the missus would let me bring her home was to stop by the chevy dealer and get her a new(used) car}. 09 xb12ss in case ur wondering. |

That's a shame but glad you're OK. Bike parts are a lot easier (and cheaper) to replace than body parts...!! |

Hey Jaydee, Good news that you didn't get squashed flat by the church traffic. Are you going to have to replace the exhaust header? I'm looking for a crash damaged one to cut up for a project. thanks, mike |

My worst accident was in our church parking lot. A freshly coated lot with thick tar snakes hidden under the top coat. Under braking it went down. While the bike didn't fare badly I earned a broken collar bone. |
