Daves, Can you check inventory of out of country dealerships on that network deal? Newfie said one concern was getting it past the import requirements and getting the bike set up for local regulations, at least for the S2. You could probably find one for him in B.C. and send it air freight to NewfoundBuellLand.  | ||

Daves, I'm thinking I'll go to my Sis' in Davenport on Friday, two hours to your place on Saturday, hopefully there between 10:00 or 11:00 and then a nice slow route home !! Promise me no one will be in the parking lot to watch me pull out, now I'm paranoid about dropping it (thanks iamike)! Newfie, no I'm not into Leprechauns duh, men with green, here in the US that's money !! (just kidding) Oh and you better be careful cause Daves WILL have you a bike sold and delivered in Newfoundland I have NO doubt !!!! PS..they are just a dealer, they havent bent over backwards to give anyone any screaming deals or went that extra mile with customer service. They were certainly good to me and DID bend over backwards, but I had already started dealing with Daves who has been talking to me about getting a bike for the last several months !!! And I ride with him and he's a friend so I got it from him, only for that reason !! Had I talked to them that long about a bike I would have bought it from them and did buy my Blast from them !! It is always hard, when only buying one item and having to choose between 2 businesses. As I have stated before, I have a lot of respect for Keith and what he has done with Buell(I think he was the first or second dealer) and I certainly never considered it a "me VS them" type of deal. Can Saturday get here fast enough!? One reason I'm so excited for you CJ, is because I've never ridden a bike that has inspired me the way the XB9S does. You're nervous now (I know I was) but, one of the best things about the bike is how quickly it becomes yours! I may not be making much sense now, but Saturday afternoon you'll know ... Blake told me right after I bought the XB that the feeling doesn't fade ... it doesn't! | ||

This morning on my ride in to work I had a huge red sun on my left just above the eastern horizon glowing above the lake fog, and to my right was the full moon glowing near the western horizon. Seemed like they were perfectly aligned to me. | ||

Hey Newf, How's the laminate holding up on the signature? As far as age, I'm glad to have hit forty.  I feel like I'm in my 20's again or maybe I'm just starting to live. CJ, Even the forecast is improving for Saturday. I haven't been up to Dave's shop yet, would be nice to ride with someone on the first trip. |
