Last couple of rides, I've noticed kind of a boiling sound when I shut off. The sound comes from the fuel pump area on the right side. Pretty sure I've never noticed it before. Any ideas? |

Gas boiling inside the frame as it takes on engine heat. Sometimes more noticeable than others depending on where you buy gas. |

Not necessarily boiling. Most likely the fuel pump cycling to prevent vapor lock. |

I've had gas in my tank boil before. On one very hot day I saw it boiling like crazy as I was refueling. It settled down quickly as cooler gas went in the tank. It was 103 degrees when that was happening though. |

That's part of what I'm wondering. It's cooler weather now so it's not the heat. I am riding twice the distance I usually do, though. |
