I am thinking about selling my 03' XB9R. It is like brand new with only 2500 miles on it and it has the race kit installed on it. I have a brand new matching Buell Racing helmit and a matching (blue/white/black) Buell leather jacket to go with it. What do you think would be a good price to ask? Thanks for any help. |

Put in the same lot that you boot car buyers who annoy you off of. Make sure you price it real high & call all the potential buyers pricks. |

Rice, check recent Ebay sales for realistic price. With your extra's I'd say you could expect $7000. Season is getting short. By November, $6500 will look good. The exception would be if you can find somebody just about to buy a new one. But for that you'd have to lurk around the dealer's and pick off the potentials. |

Dyna, I never called anyone a prick (until now). The only prick around here is you. Thanks to everyone else who posted. I checked on Kelly Blue Book this morning and resale value was $8200. That was a stock bike figured at average mileage of 5300 miles. Obviously no one has told them that the brand new ones sticker at $8995. However, my bike does have the race kit and it does only have 2500 miles on it. $7000 is a little too low, but I don't know...... Thunderbolt dad, My leather jacket is an X-Large and I believe that my helmit is a Large. Why do you ask? |

I never called anyone a prick Nope, just low life losers. Thats hilarious, a used car salesman calling people low lifes & pricks. I take back what I said about insurance agents being worse. Kinda suprised nobody asked why you are selling off all your Buell stuff. Not enough sales at your job? Too busy booting people off the lot? |

LOL...don't tell Kelly, they're the ones that made refinancing my bike possible. Did you know my Firebolt is still worth $10,000 to the bank? 14,000 miles, only been dropped once - like new! |

Actually, I was just a little discouraged about the rainy summer we had and figured that I ought not be paying for the bike and insurance if I was only going to get to ride it 4 or 5 times a month. I have decided to keep it at least for another year and see how next summer goes. Thanks to all the replies that actually had something to do with this topic. |

Aww....off topic posts add flavor. Glad you're keeping the bike, though! |
