Rippin, Shazam did get his copy of the tape at BattleTrax III in August. I know CP has one for you too. He had it at the event for you. Contact him at cptomes@hotmail.com Sorry for the long wait. Ride to the edge! Dave |

OOOOOHHHHH YEAH, almost forgot...... made it back last night...both me and the bike survived the mountains.....(riding race rubbers in the rain!) Had a good run up through Loveland, glendale, to Estes park back down through Lyons, good canyon roads, excellent pavement. Jason test rode a 12R, he decided he needs a red one! Then we headed back to KC...... Finally got the bike off the trailer aroud 7:30pm and took it for a little spin.... the altitude sure makes a huge difference! I remember from trips to Colorado how much power the X1 seemed to be missing while up in the passes.....but the Xb felt good, I couldn't wait to get it back here.... I was not dissappointed.......anyone wanna ride tonight? HUGE, BIG, warm fuzzy thanks to Frank who I seem to be able to piss off to no-end. The bike is BAAAAD!

My X1W is going into the Worth Gladstone shop tomorrow morning to have the warranty exhaust & O2 sensor changed, and I will have them service the tranny while the pipes are off of it. If they get it done in time Wed., I will try to jam down to OP and meet up with some Buell riders. Not sure what my work schedule is this week, could get called in on short notice. |

I must say the roads in colorado are insane you have 10,20,30,40 mph turns through blind corners with 1000 foot rock walls, stair cases, drop off cliffs that will make you dizzy and Sams exhaust that is ear aching. If anyone rides with Sam I suggest that you stay to the right or where ear plugs. hahahehe Nallins did wonders with the XB9 motor.Sam and I where leaving the canyons from Lyons side by side in 3rd gear and he started goosing it pulling it 3 or 4 inches, and remember that was in high elevation. Test riding the new 12 was cool, the power was there trough the whole rpm range. I got it up into triple digit speeds, put about 20 miles on it felt real strong but I still love my 9s. |
