TWO is both! You can reserve a room at the lodge or pitch a tent. The food at TWO is simply amazing. If you're in a hurry, it's not the place to eat though. During the day you'll find people hanging at TWO as "base camp". Lots of people milling around and rocking on the porch. Once you leave Suches you'll be planning your next trip back! |

HYBRYD How much is a room? I might be down with that. The xr1200 doesn't have much room for gear. I ordered the saddle bags and they came today. They'er so damn small I going to have to put the left sock in one side and the right sock in the other. Extra drawers as a do-rag lol (Message edited by blk_uly on September 16, 2010) |

to the people that are going - recommend bringing full leathers? Or will it all be pretty calm pace? Not trying to go balls out or anything, just didnt know if it'd be worth it to bring leathers or not |

I take leathers simply because they are the best protective gear I got. That truck that turns left in front of you doesn't really care if you are riding 9/10ths or not. If it isn't too much trouble to bring them, do. The extra protection never hurts. |

Hybrid, You might want to wear them around the house a bit over the next few weeks to break them in. But definately bring them. The roads in the mountains are knarlier than most race tracks. Also, though most of the locals know how to drive and are considerate to motorcycles, there's always some tourist lookie-lou's staring at the changing leaves and pretty views instead of watching the road. Besides, If you have leathers you can pack fewer clothes since you'll be wearing the same thing every day. Just bring extra under-armor or at least wash it every night. |

Hybridmomentspass, typically there will be people riding at various paces, some more aggressive than others. It totally is up to you, but if they are no problem to back then I don't see why you wouldn't pack them. I also got a cheapo Frank Thomas suit from cycle gear last winter, it dosen't get much use but I might bring it anyway. |

Glitch, looks like you're getting ready to go trail riding with Slowride and Dave Despain. Micah just needs a set of those for the Goldwing. |

You might want to wear them around the house a bit over the next few weeks to break them in. I've heard tale that there is even a Badwebber pictured in this thread who has been known to wear his leathers to bed to break them in. |

I'll bring my trusty Aerostich. I may toss my track bag in the car since it has my race boots, gloves, and leathers in it...but if it rains like it did last year, I will enjoy having that 'stich available. Keeps me warm and dry as well as safe. Fatty...we dragging the bikes on a trailer like last year? |
