has anyone used a magnaflow muffler on their tuber or any other round auto muffler? Hows it sound? I was looking at the 4" OD x 14" long magnaflow with 2.5 in/out and core. I have a supertrapp at the moment but i dont like how it dumps the exhaust out onto the tire. I was thinking of installing a different tip, but then though about putting a magnaflow on it. They sound good on my mustang  | ||

I have seen guys install a Cherry bomb and it was loud, but nothing special. | ||

I got a glass pack from Auto Zone, 2.5 in & out. A turn out tip(had it welded on) maybe $40 invested. Bolted up to the race header, sounds good.Use to use it as a back-up for when I was repacking the race can, last time just left it on, been a couple of years now. | ||

Is your supertrapp an IDS setup or a normal supertrapp setup? Cuz normally you should have a closed endcap and the exhaust comes out of the sides between the discs... | ||

My S1W came w/ a Dynomax on it, just noticed the other day that it is ONLY attached to the header flange, there is a broken rear mount hanging from the motor, but the muffler itself has no rear mount on it what-so-ever, so i'm thinking i need to get a proper muffler and mount it correctly, FWIW... the link to my pics http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/476 23/581639.html?1280365625 James |
