Why, yes it is!!! Nothing but superior customer service from the Baldwin Saddle Company. It feels comfy on the initial test sit. The bike is higher than I expected, though. The front wheel is up on the stand, so that might be it. I haven't checked the settings yet, either. It sounds like the previous owner was bigger than I am so it might be at the top of the scale. I noticed the other night that the license area doesn't have any holes drilled in it. No patches on the back side, either. I wonder if it means that particular tailpiece was never on a bike. |

Roger, That bike looks NICE!!! Is that Bart's bodywork that he had for sale? Or did you have the old bodywork painted? Either way, that is one sharp looking S2! Keep the pictures coming with this rebuild! |

That's bodywork that I had painted. The tailpiece came from Arizona, the fairing and the tank cover the PO provided with the bike, the fender came with the bike, though it was originally Canyon Red. I paid better than a grand to have mine cleaned up a bit and then painted. Makes Bart's look like a steal at $550! I had the Buell and Thunderbolt markings screened on. That may have been a couple hundred within the $1000 price tag. Still... |

Turns out my CF air cleaner cover has a bunch of cracks at one of the mounting points. I thought I was going to take a cheap route cleaning up and reusing it, but now it's best for someone that wants to paint one to match the bike. I haven't paid much attention to what's out there, other than letting a CF cover go by without bidding on ebay recently. Any ideas? |

Mine was getting pretty crappy. I saw that one and decided just to bid on it and see where it went... I ended up getting it. |

I have a feeling that all the S2 stuff on ebay is only going to about a dozen or so addresses..

I always wonder how many other Bad-webber's/S2 rider's I'm bidding against.. I wonder the same thing. At one time you could tell who you were bidding against, and I began to recognize a couple names. Those days are gone, though Wilson pointed out once that you can go through history and find the winner if you wanted bad enough. |

Ya know... I won something tonight and instead of celebrating I'm wondering what you all saw to keep you from bidding and I missed! |

"I'm wondering what you all saw to keep you from bidding and I missed!" Now that's funny! What was it?? Oh the low bars, right? Nothing wrong with them that I could see....remember that average age thing. Most of us are to darn old to want the low bars. (Message edited by gowindward on September 15, 2010) |

It was the bars.. I'm still in denial about my age. Of course, I just realized that I think I bought a set earlier this year. I either stashed them downstairs or I never received them. Hopefully I'll remember to go take a look this weekend! |

Don't worry Roger. If we got banned for hoarding I would be the first to go. |
