Stock S1 were 2'' , S1w 1998 where 2.5 but still used stock mufflers , the race ones point under the bike and use a muffler that mounts straight , all ''stock" ones mount with an elbow type muffler, thats just a stock 98 s1w header i think the s3t had this header to but im not sure |

the s3t did have that header. Its just a stock 98 thunderstorm engine header. nothing terribly special about it butch. |

To answer your ?? to matt , 2.5 headers were introduced when the thunderstorm top end came out . ie 98 |

i knew all that, thats what i said, guess it didnt come out right. Its the same style, but the frames hadnt changed to allow the under the frame headers. So this was a 1 year thing. |

When you quote me, make sure you quote me correctly. I said it was a stock header for a S1W. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/cgibin/discus/show .cgi?tpc=47623&post=1916030#POST1916030 |
