1125rr verified! Geoff was fast, fast, fast! tim was slow threw it down during Am A SS and rode the streetbike dressed in track numbers to 3rd in AM HWT Twin SB. fixed the A bike and rode to a 2nd in AM HWT SS. should have gotten 1st but one of the experts decided to run interference for his 675 buddy. every time i got up behind the leader, the expert would get between us. i have to work on being more forceful! bruised ribs(again) from the getoff. tim |

>>>>thx Court! everybody around here(non-motorcyclists) thinks i'm nuts. I commend them on their keen collective grasp of the obvious. It's what had made and kept you an icon in the world of Buell since before you were a racer . . . heck, from before you had the 'stache! I have an absolute hoot watching ALL the Buell racers. The guys like you, Ralph Longus, Slaughter and lord knows how many provide a strong base for the "enthusiast racer" . . . then you have the Paul James and Shawn Higbee group that have carved a niche for the "Buell racer with a day job" and who have represented Buell so well. Between James Gang's class act week after week and Shawn's myopic dedication to winning . . . that's a fierce group. Then you get to the "big trailer" crowd and you've got the Jemermy McWilliams, Danny Eslick and Geoff May . . . these guys are so much more that "just" racers . . . I've met each of them and continue to be amazed at what darn nice folks they are and how capably they represent Buell and the who "World of Buell". Each of these guys immediately conveys the feeling that if they'd never sat astride a motorcycle they'd be standout successes at whatever they chose to do. That's part of the aura that makes Buell so gosh darned amazing. None of the snot nosed egomaniacal racers. When I heard the story about the way Geoff May treated 9 year old Jack Kilgallon I was impressed and had great memories if when I was that age and one of my heroes would take time to say hello and talk to me. I've only been around the world of Buell for about a quarter century but grow more amazed with each passing day. Between the owners, The Elves and the racers . . . Buell is seen as a class act around the globe. Very cool stuff . . Court |

Buell well represented @ Barber Vintage Celebration/ARHMA road racing on Saturday. They're running in many classes; mostly water-cooled bikes, measured casually from the shade. Pat Mooney here at BadWeb? Erik Buell Racing got a nice bit of air-time on the public address system. Barber is THE 1st Class Race Facility east of the big river. Saturday set AHRMA attendance record, any event. http://www.ahrma.org/ |

Had a great weekend at Barber! Managed to win both Sound of Thunder races and both Battle of the Twins Formula 1 race on my 1125R. My pit crew told me Erik Buell Racing got some great air time during the races. I was told by the Boulder Ducati guys that the attendance was 38,000 for the weekend! It really was a fantastic event, and great to see so many Buell's there. Pat Mooney. |

great weekend at Barber. I rode a converted dirtbike in super mono one and two. anyone know the condition if the Bueller who crashed on the restart of race seven? It was right on the straight during the restart. Worst crash I've personally witnessed. Hope he's okay. |

Thanks Tim, I had major fun racing against the Ducati all weekend! Glad you had a good time too, sorry your body is so banged up. That crash in race seven did look nasty, it was Douglas Fogg on an XB, he did give the crowd a wave, and was moving around when they put him in the ambulance, so hopefully all will be well. He was going well on Saturday. Pat. |
