I am trying to help a new X1 owner, I remember seeing threads about the ECM spy no longer being available from the original source. I know other Badwebbers have posted info about this. Is this something I can still get to help him with a TPS reset? Does anybody also have a diagram of the harness that is needed? Thanks Dean |

the ecm spy cable has embedded electronics that match the voltages if you try to hack off a usb cable and put the plug on it you will fry either your computer or the ecm, the computer end is available from mouser electronics, the other end can be had from any store that sells the deuts connector, also you must match the wiring correctly to the socket you put on the usb/ttl cable American Sport Bike sold that cable AL may yet have one, in hind site I should have purchased a cable and package from AL less hassel steve, IF you can borrow a cable / working computer setup you can determine if the fuel pump is bad IIRC it has the pump test as part of the soft ware, Al also sells VSDS and that has full testing (no re maping) |

Thanks, I did have the VDSTS I bought from Al when I had the fuel injection on my S3, when I continued having issues I couldn't fix I put a carb on it and sold the VDSTS. So is the ECM spy still available? |
