Hi newbies to Bad web I'm surprised you all haven't been answered yet with a post from one of our regulars here. I come to the guest book section every once in a while and it looks like Bad web's usual welcoming committee is out riding or something. So Hi I've been riding the Buells for about 11 years now and I love them. Welcome to the madness this is an excellent place for Buell Knowledge. K |

Hahaha . . . good cover Kathy! Not only are you one of the premier riding instructors, you've a keen eye. I've been off trying to move Erik Buell Racing shirts. Welcome to our new friends and welcome to the madness. You'll find the folks here . . something on the order of 15,000 registered users in goodness knows how many countries, to be one of the most authoritative sources of sound Buell information and riding advise. There are a lot of nice folks and a lot of collective knowledge. There's something in it for us old timers too. Kathy is a seasoned rider and one of the top motorcycle riding instructors. For those of you who are new to riding she's a wealth of information from basic skills to high performance riding. I'm old, tired and worn out but have ridden Buells in 44 states over the past 21 years and refuse to stop telling stories. I've met over 4,000 Buell owners and continue to be amazed and the caliber of folks drawn to Buell. Anyway . . wander about, ask questions and make yourself at home . . we're thrilled you are here. Hello to all from Copenhagen, Denmark... My name is Eric H. and I am a '06 Ulysses pilot and longtime XBORG member (same screen name). I also work for BUELL HAMBURG as a sales/parts/service "bridge" between Denmark and Hamburg, and likely am either personally acquainted with or good friends with many of the Germans already posting here at BWB... :-) I look forward to bumping into old friends and meeting new ones here as well as learning both any new an old tips & tricks that I don't know of at this time... Now, to get the hang of surfing/posting in a new forum... (Message edited by eric_h on August 13, 2010) (Message edited by eric_h on August 13, 2010) |

Hey all! just bought an 09 Uly XT on friday. I did the Lake Superior Circle Tour in July on my rigid mount Sportster, and decided that if I was going to be doing stuff like that more often, I should get a real touring bike. So far I like what I see. (Message edited by argentcorvid on August 22, 2010) (Message edited by argentcorvid on August 22, 2010) |

Hi from Sweden! Bought a 06 Uly XB12X leftover in april and i can honestly say that it´s the most fun on two wheels that i´ve ever had! I´m planning to keep it for good so it was great to find a "new" bike to take care of it the way it deserves. Will fix the most urgent 06 issues this winter and hopefully it will bring me many problem free miles (or Mil as we say in Sweden) |

Hello to all. I'm just passing through on account of I might get a '96 S2. Did some great twisties in my Sportster and I'm thinking that they'd be a lot better on a Buell. Got a friend who has 5 and another with a recently acquired 1125. Anyway, you got a great site and I expect I'll be back visiting until a decision is made. If I buy I'll be joining. Ride Safe |

Hey everyone! I'm Bill from White Rock, BC Canada, eh! Bought my '09 XB12X in November from the good folks at Barnes HD in Langley. Had a few minor issues that the Barnes people dealt with quickly and painlessly and I love the bike.

Portland Or,New Buell owner. First oil change on the 2009 XB12R. Plug comes out hard and then when installed at 26ftlbs guess what. 32 years of motorcycles and now this. Dealership say's, "We didn't do it not our fault all you." Buell customer service say's,"We corrected the misprint in the manuals. 2007 to 2009 is correct at 26 to 29ft lbs. Well, picking the bike back up with the stripped out swingarm plug tommorrow. What an experience.}}} |

Hey. David from Glenwood MN. A motorcycle fan and collector. Just bought an 03 xb9s. Curious so im giving it a try. So far it is a very good streetbike. Good sound and vibes. really like the looks and fits me well. Little twitchy in fast turns and 120 mph or more. Getting used to its personality. |

Howdy folks. I traded a 1998 Tiger for a 97 Cyclone yesterday. I think you'll be seeing a lot of me. Better pics to follow when I get the good camera out.
