Got a 1998 s3t with a weird whistling noise coming from the engine. Its not the cylinder heads, it seem's to be coming from the clutch area, and pulling in the clutch lever has no effect. Sometimes it'll go away on its own for second or two then return's. The bike its self run great, so there is no performance defect here, but I need to stop it, the last owner (a good mechanic) could not find anything wrong when he pulled down the primary drive. Any sensible solutions to this problem?? |

Dave, the primary chain and oil is good, but I did find the problem the exhaust / muffler has a leak that squeak's ,and the fairing or what ever is transporting the soud around the engine ,clutch area. It's a new one on me ,never had that before on any of my bike's I've had in the last 33yrs. lol thank you mate |
