i dont know what else to do, my bike is acting up sooooo bad. runs fine when cold, but after about 6 miles or so pops and back fires then wont restart until cold. awhile back my voltage regulator went out and took out almost everything that was one,.. but ive run the bike a good 700 miles since then. the only other problem i still have is that my fuel pump runs non stop when the key is on, and hold a solid 50psi. so.. unless anyone has a better idea i need to try running another ecm and see if thats my problem. i prefer email, dngrrngriv@gmail.com |

Shot you an email back on the ECM I have... Sent you a link for some intake temp sensor issues that caused problems like you are are describing. Fuel pump keeps running with the key on? What pressure is it running while the bike us running? Wonder if you're getting enough fuel at the start but loses pressure when it's running? |

i found this on line might help you...... Surging and stalling problems Bad Bank Angle Sensor Starts and runs fine for several minutes and then dies. (About the time it gets warm.) Will restart immediately and run fine for twenty seconds, and die again. Wait five minutes and try again and it will start and run fine for a couple minutes and then die. Does not smoke, miss, backfire or run rough. It just dies like the switch was turned off. Solution... bad BAS. This may also cause your bike to not start at all. Try unplugging the BAS... it should cause an error 44 but allow your bike to start. |
