I have no one to blame except the guy who put the pistons in last time (me) anyways, here is the damage
![](http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/3842/591656.jpg) Ok, so anyone have experience with this? The gouge is 0.090" deep. The cylinders are eldebrock RPM performer ones, as are pistons and heads. 1) Is that clip inside my crankcase? Will I need to split the cases to remove it? 2) new cylinder is in order, think I should upgrade? Can I go bigger with those heads? 3) the wrist pin now has a loose fit in the piston as compared to the snug/almost press fit that it used to have. new piston required? Thanks guys for anyhelp. and remember, MAKE SURE YOU GET THOSE CLIPS IN!!! Scott |

Did the clip just fall out? Was it ever in? What year is the bike? There are some other things I would check before I put it back together. |

I would like to see a detailed pic of the missing clip side of the wrist pin hole on the piston. |

I have also determine that the wrong wrist pin clip was used....Apparently JE pistons require special clips. I had used stock HD |
