The VA has programs to help vets with injuries do what they used to. I don't know the extent of this heros injuries but there are lots of injured vets doing things that they used to, just a little differently. I have a friend that the VA bought some sort of a hydraulic snowblower for the front of his tractor because he can't operate a regular snowblower anymore. |

There is (was anyway, for a few years) a Harley that would park at the other end of work here... he would hang his artificial arm (complete with "live free or die sticker") on the bike when he went in to work. Haven't run in to him yet, and haven't seen the bike in a while. |
