HI all you tubie owners,well can any one help me, i have replaced my top rubber isolator mount and after 5000ks it breaks apart im on my 4th one now... has anyone brought the new mount and r having the same problem !!!!! |

I was in the same boat. Went through three replacements after the original, I have about a thousand miles on the new isolator and so far so good. I would order them from American Sportbike so you are sure to get all necessary parts. |

that "D" shaped washer has to be pointed in the right direction too. I'm pretty sure the flat side faces front. If you get a good one and install it right, I find about 20000 miles is about average life span. My longest lasting one was about 45000 and the worst I had was under 10K. |

The newest isolator does away with the D-washer. Plus it uses a snubber, and costs only 25 bucks! |
