What are one's options for choosing lowered foot peg sets. I know American Sport Bike has the LSL 1" lowered peg sets. Just curious if there are any other options for the XB's than the LSL sets. Thanks!

Your bike should already have 1" drop pegs on it but Knight design has 2" drop pegs that will be lower than what you have on your bike.

All Lightning models come with 1" drop pegs stock, to go lower you would need 2" drop pegs like from Knight Designs or Precision Engineering. Both make fantastic pegs.

Boliver,

Can you "feel" the extra room?? Would you say dropping down to 2" from 1" was worth it??

G4string,
Yeah I can tell a little difference in my leg room.I am actually a little tall for a SCG model so the peg drop does help.Keep in mind your leaning clearance will decrease with dropped pegs though.Yes I am happy with them and feel they were worth it.

Those look scary close to the ground.
I've touched the S pegs and went with the R pegs.
Do y'all live where it's flat?

As far as if you feel it or not, I didn't really notice any difference going to the R pegs, but when I changed back (I broke an R peg) I really felt the extra room.

Now I have the LSL R pegs.

Glitch,
I live in Oklahoma where there are plenty of hills.I ride my bike on the street, not on the track.I obey all laws and have never even got close to scraping the pegs.I just felt the need to tell him in case he was one of those guys who ride track style on the public roads.

I got cha.
Still though, I'm sure I'd scrape 'em.
I guess my riding style is a little more spirited, and the roads I ride are pretty crooked.
I guess if I rode more conservatively those pegs might do, I am sure that you'd feel the difference in leg room.
Those pegs are low!

Oh yeah I forgot to mention I ride like an old man.LOL Yeah the pegs did help in the comfort zone but lets face it,an XB isn't really known for comfort. But hey I look good rollin down the road.Well until I scrape a peg....

I know some "old" men I'd like to be able to keep up with.
There's William (Mountainrider) that bought a City Cross just to embarrass some of the Buell haters.
He's not all that old, just older than me, and I'm older than you, so riding like an old man means nothing! ; )
You ought to come to BuellToberFest and ride with us.
We'll do an "Old Man's Ride"
It'll be fun, and by the way, we never advocate riding beyond one's comfort level.
