Looking at my front isolator (up under the front forks) it appears that part of it is missing. The rubber appears to have a cavity forward of the big bolt that threads up into the frame, just behind the lower triple tree. Shouldn't there be rubber *all the way around* that bolt? It's like there is a cavity or *void* where some rubber should be. I'd think it would be like a big rubber donut like the rear isolators? What are the symptoms of a faulty isolator? I'll try to take some digital pics, but it's difficult at best to see up in there without an instpection mirror. FWIW, the bike has 12500 miles, and a two months out of warranty. Thanks, Jody S. |
