A very young 60 here, at least for the next month and 6 days, which I'm counting on going v-e-r-y s-l-o-w-l-y! Yeah, Jphish, you got me to fess up. Heck, how could I not? You're my idol, Man! 12,600 miles on a Uly trip this past spring, no problems other than the BLOW OVER in Maine, and all on the same rear tire with 2,000 miles to spare! You Da' Man! The Uly is a really cool bike and this group is the best I've seen in my riding days. Glad to be a part of it. |

I'd be curious to see the demographic among bikes similar/like-minded to the Uly (GS? Strom? Duc MS?) to see if they mimic what's been posted here. Is the Uly the 'oldest demographic' in the Buell brand? My gut says yes but I'm wrong often, so sayeth the 3 women that reside in my house. |

62 (so far). Just rolled past 29k miles on the Uly. 38k on my '06 'Zuki cruiser, but I've hardly ridden that one after getting the Buell - just Tuesdays and Thursdays, mostly commuting. |

I think Cpilot may have the top 08 mileage...for our age class. Way to go Man - You're an inspiration! Bullerxt - I think my hips & knees have finally popped back into place after trying to keep up with my brother on his XR... on a trail even retarded goats avoided. Before we left he sez: "Gee - the frame for my panniers appear to be broken - so looks like you'll have to carry all the stuff" on my now hippo sized 800# KLR, with about an inch of preload left. So he's effortlessly rolling over all the same logs / rocks I'm landing on...mostly sideways. I couldnt cry, so i did the only thing a mature man can do...I told Mom. |

48 here. The bad thing is this isn't even the stupidest thing I own at my age. My downhill mountain bike would take that honor. |

54 here. Damn, am I really that old? Guess the time really flies when you're having fun. I can still do a 500 mile day though. One of my riding buddies is in his 60s and can still do 800 mile days. |

Funny comment on HD and their geezer demographic. I got rid of my Road King for the Uly. When I get too old and feeble to ride 2 wheels, it's a Ural Patrol. Will use the side car to carry my walker and my personal assistant. http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb108/itileman/ sigpic1.jpg |

Real time: 58 years; In my mind's eye: 35 years. Bought the Firebolt first in '08, the Uly came in late '09. I may feel young but I truly am a grumpy old fart. Grandchildren call me "Gramps", I tell them it's spelled with a "u". |

62, just finished a 2500 mile loop to Colorado. The Uly is a heck of a touring bike. I just sold my geezerglide, it was just collecting dust in the garage since the Uly arrived on the scene. |

Old farts don't bother me, it's the new farts that seem to cause the biggest stink! I'm 56, but I refuse to grow up! |
