Hello, I was traveling on my 04 XB12r when it died on me, there was no sputtering or anything, just running then not. After getting stopped I tried to start it again and the starter does not even click. I turned the key off and back on again and I don't hear the fuel pump run and the starter still does not turn over or even click. The battery is connected and the headlight/tail lights/brake lights/turn signals work and the speedo/tach/tripmeters/clock all work. Checked all fuses and none are blown. I appreciate everyone's help! -Ben |

Flipped the run/stop switch a couple times and it started working. |

Mine does it when the left side relay goes out. Happens every few months. I replace the relay, all is well. I carry a spare all the time now. |

It just happened to me the other day. I posted a fix for my particular problem in the XB forum, Here http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/327 77/583876.html?1281491085 Maybe that will help. |
