Went through three replacements after the original, I have about a thousand miles on the new isolator and so far so good. I would order them from American Sportbike so you are sure to get all necessary parts.   Natexlh1000 Posted on Monday, August 23, 2010 - 01:40 pm:        that "D" shaped washer has to be pointed in the right direction too. I'm pretty sure the flat side faces front. If you get a good one and install it right, I find about 20000 miles is about average life span. My longest lasting one was about 45000 and the worst I had was under 10K.   Blackm2 Posted on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 - 01:02 pm:        The newest isolator does away with the D-washer. Plus it uses a snubber, and costs only 25 bucks!
