Hey Shift yes there is. You pay $150.00 being a certified rider coach. But you don't try to tell the college that, as Tracy says if you do "their heads will explode!" Total Control will send you a check back to you for the discounted price after you take the class. K |

K - my schedule just changed for work (and I'm hoping it will stay this way for next season) - I work M-F now. Weekends free - send me an email if there's something I can do now, to get in line for next season and get started... |

Babired...I do around 100-140 miles on a weekend. Not too much...I can't usually get two days of riding in with all the other obligations. But, I'm lucky to have an in-law's house in rural VA, so my wife takes the car and the dog out for the weekend and I go out on the bike. Then I can take the "long way home" on Sunday! |

Hoop that sounds like a good hook up you got going on there. It would be cool to see more of you in the TC class right now the economy has slowed enrollment down Last class at the end of July was canceled but this Saturday's class is full. Rat I will call the boss and find out when the next IP will be held for 2011. You have to find a site sponsor to teach for. I know Frederick, Hagerstown, and Carroll County CC's would be your closest 2 training sites. |

Lars & Pellis, Have a great ride. I've got kid duties, tomorrow...have to pass on the ride. Hope to see all that don't make the WV trip, next week. As mentioned earlier, we are hosting a ride through central MD and south central PA, next Sunday. |

Pellis - the R/T is bolted together, but not wired or plumbed yet. Although...I could "fudge" my CSX-VNT with tags off something else, and bring it. With it's 60-trim Garrett VNT that's big enough it made Carroll himself look at me in '01, down at VIR, and say "um...that's not the turbo *I* put in there, is it??" right before he *asked* if he could autograph the car for me
But...I think I better try and wrap up the R/T tomorrow. Hard part (heavy lifting) is done, now to try and remember where everything plugs in LOL. Engine rebuilt, turbo rebuilt and upgraded, injectors upgraded, mild porting, shimmed headgasket to reduce static CR (for mo' boost!), underdrive pulley...and this is a car that had some upgrades before the rebuild and put 296 to the front wheels. Heehee. |

Hell, I'm not cool enough for the WVBR...but I'll be there anyway. If they can tolerate me, anyone can go Anyone in the mood for a later ride out there, I'm probably leaving Fredneck around 7. Gonna try to leave work early, but we'll see how that goes...but I'll be stand-up no earlier than 5. Should put me at the rally around 11:30ish, if the GPS is right. |

Are you still heading to WV? Back up bike? The main ride is today. That would be a long ride just for dinner. The M2 is in need of a rear tire. I plan to pull the S3's transmission on Sunday and order the parts I need on Monday. |

Pellis, Sorry to hear about that. I know you were looking forward to the ride. I am still up for one of your mapped WV / VA rides, later. Perhaps we can talk Lars, Shift and a few others into a September / October Ride. |

Paul, my bike died last night. Put fresh plugs in it and with help from several buellers (Chris, Matt and Gary) it's been diagnosed as a fuel delivery issue. Pump is putting out plenty of fuel. Tore down the injectors and they are spraying fuel, but the bike won't run. If you drizzle gas directly into the throttle body it fires right up but once the it burns off it stops. I'm getting trailered back thanks to Steve. |

***Notice*** MD/PA Ride Sunday, August 22nd. Shift and I decided that the route...and chance for additional rain could give us trouble. We will most likely cancel the ride. For those having to travel longer distances, I don't think we will be able to evaluate in time for you to make the ride. Let's reschedule the ride. |

Just got back from a little ride through the USDA agricultural reserve in Beltsville, MD. The rain held off, but it's really humid...not pleasant riding weather, especially with full gear. |
