I have a 2003 XB9S. What is the life expectancy of the front engine isolator ? When I chop the throttle to decelerate around 1700rpm I get a vibration that rattles my brain. Is this a worn front isolator ? |

My bike's been vibing like crazy lately too. Thought that was just how Harley's felt. But seriously, I guess it makes sense that it would be the front isolator. How hard is it to change? How about a link to a how-to? Thanks! |

If the front isolator rubber isn,t to damaged ,you can order a front mount saver here: http://palmerproducts.auto.officelive.com/buellxb12x.aspx Or you can make one yourself from some really soft rubber (plate + - 5 or 6 mm thick) This is from a 2004 XB 12s (30.000 kilometers and one crash) And the early xb,s have already a rubber ring glued onto the bolt head
