The good rides are posted elsewhere now. I'd bet there were to many "where/when" rides, and then "no shows" here for others to waist there time. |

yup, I remember 1-2 would crash riding above there level too...Good Times for sure.
I can tell you, They still ride, it's just not as public.
It's nice to know the person your riding with can actually ride the bike he/she is on. |

I don't know if I have just been lucky enough to be on rides that they happen or what, but I have seen way more crashes than I would liked to have seen. |

Me too Scott. I haven't been out on a single group ride this year...not one. I was up at the track this weekend, so that was my "perfect ride". No sand, no cats, no cars...you get the picture. Total blast annoying sportbikes in the other waves with my orange dirtbike. Oh yeah, I crashed it (again), repair work-none. Just get back on and keep going! Braaaaaaap! |

I've been out several times this summer, but the loop is getting kinda tired and my attempts at googling new routes have taken us into some really nice twisties that just so happened to be covered with dirt. Speaking of dirt, I've been taking baby steps into the realm of off-road with the big bike, thanks to encouragement from Chippy (nay, chippertheripper) and his ilk over on ADVRider. Franklin State Forest is in my backyard, so I can bounce over there on my commute home and screw around for a bit and I've probably put a whopping 2 dirt miles on the GS (I did say baby steps) and dropped it once. And I dropped it at a standstill. Sumbitch is heavy.
But I do plan on doing some miles this weekend and shooting up to NESR's playground north of the border. It will be a long day. Weather permitting, that is. |

I rode at least 600 miles this weekend, all solo though. I haven't done many group rides this year, but mostly because I usually have something going on and can't attend. |
