I think I read that XB wheels can be put on the 1125 if you change the bearings? Any input? |

The front wheel can be changed indiscriminately between all XB and 1125 models regardless of year. They even use the same brake rotor. It is the rear wheel that things get confusing. There are two types of rear wheel available, with the difference being the bearings. 2003 to 2009 models came with a wheel that had two bearings for the axle, while the 2010 models came with a wheel that had 3 large bearings. You can put any wheel on any year bike as long as you use the correct axle for that wheel. 03-09 models have one axle, 2010's had a different one due to the different bearings. While the wheels themselves are the sames between both the XB and 1125, the rear sprocket is different and would need to be changed if used on a different model. Also take note that the rear brake rotor is different on all 2008+ models. This doesn't matter if you have an XB, but for the 1125 you need to use this newer style brake rotor with the large holes in it to reinstall the rear caliper. |

Another thing I forgot to mention. The XB12X and XB12XP models came with a wheel that is reinforced for offroad duty. It is slightly heavier, and only available in the stock grayish color. These wheels still interchange the exact same as others for the given year, see above post. |
