Allright, so got the bike back together and the header wrapped. Smokes a lot first couple of starts! So far I feel less heat while at stops and at cruising speeds don't feel any heat on the side. Ready to go riding for the next 2 weeks! This time put everything back together properly using the service manual and torque to specs. | ||

My replacement header came in, I picked it up yesterday, and dropped it with the coater today. I am going with high temp black ceramic inside and out! I am up for a ride on Saturday after work, and Sunday morning, but I have to be at the tattoo convention by 1:00pm Sunday because I am getting the band logo on my back!!!! | ||

good turnout of Buell's last night @ Betty's Best Burgers. 1 X1, 1 XB9S and 1 XB12X (they were there but I haven't met them yet), 2 XB12R's, and 2 XB12Scg's (one being The_italian_job's total custom) 7 Buell's in total all at one show at the same time..... | ||

No go for me this weekend, Belts are tring to show trought the front, gunna park her till the new tires come in... If I get the Sporty running good on sat. morning Ill come up for a ride sunday morning, but dont hold ur breath, still dont know whats wrong with her.. | ||

get used to it Amy...every now and then you will feel like you are the only one here! it happened to me once for what felt like months, I was the only one posting... for those that weren't there Sundays ride was nice...weather was not too hot and Tepid,Fresh, and I rode a minimum of 50 miles together and managed to find some twistys, although few and far between. I'll be out tomorrow night...any one else with any suggestions on where to meet? | ||

So, went up to Jupiter today. My friend rented a street bob from Palm beach Harley. Went and passed by PBIR, all along A1A. Still here, gonna have some dinner with friends, then a nice ride back to Miami! | ||

Ok the Dunlop Q2's perform great, harder side wall than the scorpion sync, much more aggressive in the turns, front tire was a little skittish on break-in but after that performs very well. Now to see how long they will last and how they perform as they wear. Great ride Tempid & Guy, racked up a couple of miles didn't we. (Message edited by Thekosack on August 22, 2010) | ||

Today was definitely a great day! Thank you Kosack and Guy for showing up! For those of you who weren't there: The birds out on snake road are plentiful, and all over the place, but the dragon flies are almost as big as the birds and don't have enough sense to get out of the way! The Grampa breakfast at Cracker Barrel was EXCELLENT! As was the banana split with death by chocolate icecream at Jaxson's! The best part of today's ride was not the $125 that I found in the parking lot, but the company! Have a great night, all of my south Florida BUELL-ers, and I look forward to all of us riding again soon! | ||

About 10 last night I headed to Micky D's for a milk shake [about 2 miles].On the way I ran into an 1125[Jim] that just moved here from Tenn.On the way back ran into an XB. [Josh or Justin] sorry i'm bad with names, that just moved here from Orlando. Told them both about this board.Maybe we can get them out on Sundays Funny- 3 bikes on the road---All BUELLS | ||

My Friend Christina, some of you have met her, the waitress at the Sage restaurant where we have had breakfast before, has just purchased an 03xb9s!!!!! She bought it yesterday and rode it home from PSL. She is fired up about being a BUELL owner, and is looking forward to riding with us soon! She usually works on Sundays so something during the week would be great. We are taking her bike to my friend tonight for him to give it the "once over". I am so excited that she chose to be a BUELL-er! Yesterday I had my new header installed, and I have to say that the black looks so freaking good, it should have come that way from the factory! My weekend project is going to be to paint my muffler with some high-temp black paint, you know, to hide the rust! Hopefully my new grips come in today, in which case I will change out my bars after work, seriously, I am really excited about how much these small changes really make my bike MINE!!! | ||

yesterday morning I was back at the f@cking dealersip because the stupid c@nt didn't tighten my exh straps. She comes out to me and mentions that my rear axle pinch bolt is missing, and I told her it was there when I brought it in the day before. I am going to get the bolt myself because I am done with the dog and pony circus side show they have going on over there at Rossmeyer's. I did install my new bars, grips, and bar ends last night, and she looks so cool!!!! I like the look a lot, and now she is much more personalized. Not wanting to waste a perfectly good set of traction grips, I gave my stock bars and the grips to my friend Christina, and my left mirror because she didn't have any. Her bike had chrome bars on it, and looks much better now with the black bars. Guy, I posted the new videos in the same thread it is all up and working now. | ||

Tempid, that was a great ride Sat. night, thanks i needed it. Some how riding alone aint as fun.... Well hopefully next week wont rain so we can get a few bikes out to ride. Any body wants to ride this coming weekend? |
