There are 2 HD/Buell dealers in the Austin area-Cowboy HD and Central Tx HD. One dealer (Cowboy) has a great reputation among Buell AND Harley riders. Another(CTHD) does not. That was stupid. Any dealership that would be part of putting out that video clip would surely have been on the side of the "cubed Blast" campaign. Why if I had to lower my standards that far to pick up that chick on a street corner(ie. HD parking lot), I could have done better with a $20 bill and no bike at all. | ||

I loved the "dead fish" girly handshake when he was leaving, then he can't hardly get it off the side stand!!  Agreed, that was a slap in the face and I ride a Harley too. I would never buy another one though. Since 2003 they have cheapened the crank and bearings and enlarged their runout specs so large it's stupid. If I need another large touring bike it will be a Victory Cross Country, not a Hardly Dangerous! | ||

Sad to see a great brand become a caricature of itself. That video was an abomination. And to add insult to injury having the guy wearing a Buell shirt, a brand who's name is on the outside of the building, to represent the "dud". The sad message is that buying a Harley will gain you an ugly big assed girl. | ||

I've got a quarter each for all of you...buy yourselves a sense of humor...  What goes around, comes around. We all get a good laugh at the anti-HD vids that get posted up here. I think it just confirms the attitude most HD dealers had about Buell in the first place. It's going to take more than a quarter for me to think that was funny. I do get that what goes around comes around. Hey, I even own a HD. I still don't like the video. | ||

Obviously has aura of magical protection properties, or - "Buell Dud's" are like Timex's -"can take a lickin & keep on tickin". He needs a better helmet though. Come on Hooligans...it's a joke! A pretty stupid one perhaps, but a 'turn the tables' joke nonetheless. After all the grief we've given HD owners ? I give my brother crap all the time about his Ultra - just in good fun. Lets keep perspective & sense of humor. Of the 3 guys doing the stomping, 1 was a dentist, 1 an accountant and the other an HD salesman. and the 'lady' - she was either the apparel manager (eyepatches are on sale BTW!!) or the 'chromeologist'. I dont perceive any great threat here. | ||

I can take a joke as well as the next guy, but savaging one brand you sell to promote another is just stupid. You don't see Dodge making fun of Jeep to try to sell more Dodge vehicles, do you? | ||

Was it in Bad taste? - sure! But doubt it's gonna affect their Buell sales much. It's an insight into the whole 'bad ass' HD mythology. It's stupid, but it's what they sell. Gives us all something to chuckle about in those idle moments. It aint rainin out (dont want to endanger my single chrome part - steering head bolt - with rust) and i'm now going to ride my Uly to the HD dealer for an eyepatch. Hope I don't get attacked. Don't think I'll buy any 'fatboys' though either. | ||
