I bought my exhaust tips off ebay. I remember reading on here that i will have to cut an allen wrench to do the install with the exhaust on the bike. Anybody want to give me some advice on the installation, or if it has already been said, point me to the thread. I did a search, but i couldn't find anything. |

I bought my exhaust turnouts from the "eBay guy". Fast delivery, nicely made, and the fit was perfect. Got a lot of positive comments. Be sure to spend a bit more, to get the polished stainless steel ones. And I, too, substituted bolts for the supplied hex-wrench screws. |

The ones I bought were USD$120, at "Buy It Now". I just checked his listing, and the aluminized steel ones are USD$85, at "Buy It Now". These are available in several finishes. I have no plans to change my OEM exhaust, because all the communities in my area have banded together to create and enforce a crackdown on non-EPA certified bike exhaust systems. So, these exhaust turnouts solve the "soot-on-the-rotor-and-wheel" problem. (Message edited by attweco on July 26, 2010) |
