N Bend Lodge is already full for Fri, but had 2 rooms on Sat as of this morning.
I got a room at the Heritage Inn today, but sounded like it might have been one of the last (not sure). A co-worker might come along this year, and is not much on camping. He rides a VFR, so there ya go! If he decides not to go, I'll likely switch back to camping to be where the action is.
Mark - I think the silent auction is a great idea.
ok, not trying to be a doushe bag, but how would the silent auction work exactly? I mean, I understand the concept, bid on stuff on paper, high bid wins, but what I'm concerned about is that most people ride to the event, so do we bring a picture of the item we're donating or something like that? I mean, I can bring all kinds of Buell crap in my SUV, but I don't want someone who rides from, say, western NY, to have to figure out a way to stow it for the ride home. Just a thought.
Looking forward to seeing everyone again in a few weeks!
Hey Mark, do you have any idea of the route yet and how many miles it may be? Just trying to figure out our plans. Do to my surgeries on my leg, I don't know if I will be able to ride the ride but we still want to come down and visit and to see your mom and dad..
You will want to be at the Cokely Campground around 5:30 pm at the latest on Friday.... come early if ya like to meet and greet
We will have a short and sweet WVBR talk/welcome/howdy session and then take a very short group ride to my folks place for some eats and a game of corn hole... after we eat way to much and clean up... head back to the campground for fire side lies and fire water...
