Hey Guys, I have noticed that my bike has a tough time cranking over after I ride the bike for a bit, stop, and then start it again (filling up on gas). It almost seems that the battery doesn't have enough juice to get the engine going on the first attempt, but it always cranks over on the second attempt. Does this sound like a battery issue to you guys? I have a 2009 XB12Scg. Thanks, Nick |

Check that the battery cables and ground terminations are secure. Measure the battery voltage while cranking the engine. If it drops below 9.6v charge the battery. If it still drops below 9.6v; it's time for a new battery. Not that it's any consolation, but the battery in my Ulysses didn't see it's first anniversary. |
