FYI, Tim Hurley (GS BRAG) has arranged for Glendale HD/B to have the 11 x 17 card to congratulate Erik Buell and Buell Motorcycle Company on their 20th Anniversary. Tim says, "Lets get as many signatures as possible to show our support for Buell. Time is of the essence." See Chris Matty at the dealer between now and Friday, Aug 15. Hello everyone,, I just got a call from a research company in Milwaukee working for Buell... They asked me a couple of questions and they told me they are coming down from Milwaukee and want to have a sit in with me next Thursday at 8:30pm.. They want me to bring along 2 friends with sportbikes and we each get $25.00 cash and it will be at a Tony B's bar/grill in the LA area. I dont know too many friends w/ sportbikes, so far I only have one person in mind... anybody interested send me a message... They will be calling me on Monday to see if I got two people to do it. I dont think they will take me by myself.. also has anybody done this before?????? | ||

I can only get a 2 week vacation from work so im not leaving till this saturday, 8/22... I wish I could leave sooner though... At least I will be able to give buell my 2 cents this thursday. I still have those two spots open people, I was hoping to get some Buell riders to come with me. Doesnt anyone want to tell Buell what they think and get paid for it? | ||

Buell Focus Group at the ROCK STORE: They called me today and said that is where they want to meet. They said they are flying in from Milwaukee so they are not sure on the times yet but it will be this Friday or Saturday. They asked me to bring two people and we all get 25.00 dollars each. I still dont know who's coming with me. | ||

So Viros, how serious is this "focus group?" I am in denial about my eyesight so might need reading glasses  Does owning 2 Buells automatically disqualify me for the focus group? What if I race one of them? I can take the day off Friday. Weekday is a better ride to the Rock Store anyways. | ||

If it is Saturday depending on the time I might not even able to do it since I will be leaving for the 100th. All that Ive been told is that they have been hired by Buell and its a hour and a half and they just want to talk motorcycles w/me and two friends who ride sportbikes. They told me they will call me before the end of the week to confirm the exact time/date since they are not certain yet because people are flying in from Milwaukee. As soon as I hear from them I will post the exact time and date. But Im not sure what to expect myself. Victor | ||

Victor, I don't think the Rock Store is open on Friday. But Saturday there should be lots of sportbikers & RUBs at any time. You previously mentioned Tony B's in LA. I think you meant Tony P's in Marina Del Rey (info at bottom of page). This is where Bartels' LA#1 Hog group has their meetings. It's a lot closer than the Rock Store. Sparky | ||

Victor, Wondering how legit they are - it'd be easy enough to contact Buell to verify it. That'd be my only concern - that they aren't misrepresenting themselves. Not that it's a matter of earth-shattering importance but on the outside chance that it's a bluff, might be worth a call. If the are on the up-and-up then all is well. | ||

The Buell Focus Group will be at the Rock Store this SAT at 9am It is being Conducted by Laughlin Constable(www.laughlin.com) they have the cool "have a nice day" commercial on their site.
