My low beam side is out of my headlight. Manual says see dealer. Where are these bulbs available? |

It is a H7 size bulb on the CR. Available from any parts store. Personally I recommend swapping to HID, the cost is about the same as a premium halogen bulb, but it lasts a billion times longer and has a billion times the light output. |

Just one billion? Not a gazillion? |

Nope, you need a police helicopter spotlight for a gazillion. |

What has everyone found to be the best option for HID on an 1125R? Hopefully a kit that's easy to retrofit. |

DDM tuning (link above) is the kit I use on all my vehicles that I have converted. Cheap, easy to install, fantastic performance. They simply can't be beat. |

I have them in my Harley and Honda (car.) All have performed very well with no issues at all. Heck of a bang for the buck. |

Hogzilla and Froggy - Which HID setup do you recommend for the 1125R, 35 watt, 55 watt, or a mix? JG |

I have HID 35w 6800K lo-beams in Loretta. They pretty much render the hi-beams useless. No relay, hooked in to the OEM plug, working fine for 2 years now and 19k miles on the HIDs. It is so nice to be able to see at night... I also like the color contrast with HID(Bluish white) lo and halogen(yellow) hi-beams. I use my hi-beams to flash oncoming left-turners is about all anymore. Z (Message edited by zac4mac on July 24, 2010) |

Does the headlight assy. just come off with the tiny plastic clips? It seems like it's really tight but the top 3 clips don't seat in the holes very well.I could really use some direction. Idon't want to break the plastic. Any ideas would really be appriciated. |

WOW the prices for HID lighting have REALLY come down! I remember it was nearly $700- $1000 for HID at one time. |

I just used Xenon bulbs 6800k range and they are a brilliant blue/white color and a much better depth of penetration. I paid $8 for them of ebay and 1500 miles later they're still fantastic. I swapped out the sidelights for CMD LED ones and they're almost as bright as the headlights! I'd love to see a back-2-back comparison between the xenons and a proper HID kit but for now I am more than happy. |
