So I knocked over my baby yesterday. I caught it as it was going down but could not stop it from braking the clutch lever and shifter. Went to dealer and they told me the part was unavailable. I asked if they had any Buell parts. All they had was levers for a Blast. It fit on my M2 but the clutch stays in gear when I pull in the lever all the way. What is the problem? The levers look identical. What am I missing? |

Do you adjust the clutch by the procedure in you FACTORY SERVICE MANUAL ??? Took my old black levers off my S3T(same as your M2)and traded for the polished levers on my BLAST because it is BLACK ... Levers work just fine ... Did you compare the part number of the M2 lever and BLAST lever ??? Although the FACTORY is supposed to supply parts and the Dealers are supposed to stock them is an IDEAL SITUATION, but not the way it will be ... The Dealers will only order what you want and you will just have to wait till they come in(do not forget back orders) ... Now as far as the BLAST is concerned, it will be different story(probably plenty of parts) as they are use'ed in the RIDERS EDGE TRAINING PROGRAM ... There are a small amount of important parts that will retro-fix to TUBE FRAMES ... |
