Oxidized? Did you mean Anodized? If so, Grandstand Designs can do it. http://www.grandstanddesigns.com/website/ |

You won't have much luck with the pegs...they are cheap pot-metal aluminum and will look like a** if anodized. Pete at Grandstand does AMAZING work, but he'll tell you the same thing. Unless you really mean oxidized, then you can just leave the parts out in the sun. |

Knightdesignllc.com sells some really nice anodized pegs in different styles and colors. They also have reservoir covers for the front brake. Not sure if thats the route you want to go but I can't say enough good about the work and product they have.Randy and Alicia are really great folks. |

Your answer lies in the replies above: grandstanddesigns.com for anodizing existing parts, knightdesignllc.com for purchasing new anodized parts. Both are board sponsors, and top-notch people. I still say that anodizing the pegs will look horrid, but try it if you want. |

They are nice quality, and perfect for their intended function. They are just not the kind of solid aluminum that takes anodizing very well. Pegs like those from Knight Design are milled out of solid aluminum, and anodize quite nicely. |

Andy Knows what he is talking about.Besides if you weigh in the cost of shipping your pegs to them and back, which you have to pay that yourself.Plus the services rendered you will save time and money buying new ones.Forget about trying to make it all match perfect because it NEVER will. Each part you have processed will differ in color because they were NOT cut from the same stock. And plus one on what Andy said about the stock pegs being cheap. They are cheap. And they brake very easily. But what do WE know? You could powdercoat them instead. |

All he asking is if anyone knows where to get what he wants done... not for your opinions on what you think it will look like |

That was answered in the first reply. Also in the second reply. Probably others too. |

So you would rather have him find out the hard and expensive way the results might not be what he desired? Given Andy's post, I would be inclined to do more research before dropping coin to find out if he was right or not. |

Ok, I did find that powder coating is a better way to go. I found a local guy who will do all my foot pegs, linkage, and any other little parts for $50. The guy said he would do 8 small peices for $50, so if anyone near Saint Louis wants to go in we could both do our foot pegs for $25 each, that would be a good deal. |

Wow Joe thanks for jumping in with all that great insight. This thread seems to be going down the same path as the quickboard thread where you asked a question and then got your panties in a bunch when you got answers. Are you trolling or just that sensitive? |
