Yea,it has some coupling in knife-edge,and the inverted spins are so-so,but it will pull over 10+gs,that will wake you up in the morning, along with the radial snarling away. |

The post was meant as sarcasm to those who are unable to change their own motor-cycle fluids and then complain about the cost...I do all my own work including the Sukhoi Su-26m,F22 raptor and my Space-shuttle |

One of my nephews flew Tomcats...One day when I visited him, his eyes were major blood-shot....so I ragged him out about drinking or whatever....he told me that the eyes were from too much Gee...and a former co-worker that flew Phantoms (wild weasel missions)in Nam had similar stories... |

Tomcats and Phantoms, the pilots of those had balls... If you know any thing about "Glide-ratio" those planes basically had none....As said of those planes before "The U.S. Air-Force proved that with a big enough engine(thrust) they could get a brick to fly" That's funny cause I just realized thats how I feel about the new 2010 Harley Big bob, classic ride, custom fat,low screamin-eagle,low 883 Sportster.... |

Nice Sukhoi... $500 isn't outrageous for an oil change on that...it's sort of an SOB to do. |

Maintaining maximum intake velocity is the key to maximum fuel atomization, and there for is in direct relationship with high torque-output and low end throttle response.Smaller intake ports and throttle body bore diameter are good for this, but at the cost of peak horse-power.The two-stage throttle body uses a small bore for the primary along with the factory injectors. When engine load and R.P.M's dictate, the secondary throttle blade opens with the additional "Shower-head" fuel injectors.the secondary is controlled by a stepper-motor that I adapted from a auto-mobile "fly-by wire" throttle system.I would post Dyno torque and H/P numbers but some of the people on this fourm like to do nothing but criticise and make rude comments.I did these modifications for the fun of it and the challenge of the software.Lets just say that with my own exhaust system and open air-box,the numbers are REALLY impressive.I kinda wish that Buell was still making these as I might have been able to sell them the idea,oh well.... |
