Hi All, I de-noided my 2009 CR yesterday, and now the thottle twist grip is really sticky, and doesn't return on its own.....any ideas, I had a quick look but I haven't stripped it back down... Thanks, Frankie |

When you say "de-noided" did you remove the solenoid completely? |

Remove airbox cover. Remove filter Pull IAC hose up further into airbox. (this is the rubber hose to the right of the throttle bodies) Problem solved. ac |

Check the air breather hose to the bike side right of the throttle bodies, if it is not pulled up into the inner airbox it will be pushed against the side of the throttle linkage hindering it's ability to return. Make sure it's pulled up about 1/2" out of the bottom of the inner airbox. |

Thanks Everyone, Yes, Mikellyjo, I removed it completely but retained the bracket, to fix the air box cover in place. I seem to remember the air hose was a bitch to get back though the hole so maybe its not in far enough. I'll check tomorrow. Many thanks again guys! |

Throw a drop or two of oil on the hose. Slides in much easier. ac |

Had same issue a while back, just like the others said that IAC hose needs to be pulled up a good bit sticking out of the bottom of the airbox. |

Did you make sure the gasket below the airbox is seated correctly? (Apparent and stupid suggestion, I know, but it should be fitted to the lower portion of the airbox first, then around the throttle body assembly...or at least that's how I do it) I only suggest this because i made that mistake when i put everything back together after denoid. |

Did you leave a small pair of black-handled ziptie cutters next to the throttle linkage before you put everything back together? Please don't ask how I know this could interfere with throttle function. |

+1 on pulling the hose up through the inner airbox. I didnt pull it up enough when I did it and throttle stuck. pulled it up about half an inch through and the throttle was back to normal. |

If you get a torch and shine it up from the rear of the airbox you can see the hose and make sure it's clear of the throttle linkage, and also that it's not pulling of the throttle bodies too, its easy to pull it to far !! |

Thanks Everyone, Hose wasn't in quite in enough, but the main problem was the airbox gasket, I re-fitted it to the airbox as opposed to the thottle bodies and its perfect now.....Exhaust will be my next thing to do..... |
