Looking to buy an airbox cover for an xb. Battle blue for a 9 or a 12 is fine. I would prefer the 9 as it has a slightly lower profile. I am thinking of trying to make a CIA out of it, if you got one laying around let me know. | ||

9 cover is the same as the 12. AFAIK Battle Blue only came on the 9R anyway. | ||

It was always my understanding that the 12 was differnet to accomodate the exhaust servo. And I have an 05 12R that is the blue and amber combo. Unless I've been driving a 9 this whole time and didn't know. | ||

Your bike (assuming profile picture is accurate), is a 04 or 05 XB12R in Thrust Blue. (My guess is 05 looking at the forks, hard to say for sure with a low res pic). The covers are the same, the difference for the exhaust servo was with the inner airbox cover, but even later years use the same inner cover for both just with nothing on there for the XB9 models. |
