I've got EcmSpy, but i won't have a weekend off until the middle of August. I live in Glendale, at 35th ave, and the 101 if that's anywhere near you, maybe we can get together on a week night. I have a strange work schedule, 4 days on, and 4 days off, so it's constantly rotating, and I'm just now going into my weekends on. I also work nights... | ||

Boy the CR sure gets hot riding around Arizona.....The frame was really really hot last night coming home around 11:30 pm......I can imagine during the day time....Bart, how does yours do? REX | ||

Mine burns me pretty good also. Although, not as bad as the XB does. I had to ride the XB out to Mesa yesterday and thought I was going to pass out. This heat is ridiculous! I usually ride the Honda to and from work, because it has the adjustable windshield that blocks the hot air from scorching my face. You still thinking of selling your CR? | ||

Mine is very hot as well... It is much much better with the O.S.B programing thou. Still hot! One of these days I will wrap the exhaust and get the stick on frame insulation. | ||

Yeah i rode the R the other day and it was smoking 212 running temp....yesterday the FLHX was pretty hot as well. | ||

Both the Duc (aircooled) and the 2FDDY have been running really hot. Even the Miata pitched a fit and blew both tanks off the radiator a couple weeks ago. Been having to deal with a lot of unexpected medical crap of late so I have been rather non-existent if anyone was trying to get a hold of me. | ||

Hey All.. I am once again back, after a year off the Buell because of personal/financial stuff. It's great to be back up on the S3, she is running great and I think I found a reliable shop. Bart. Just thinking of cleaning out the garage a little. I really do not need the CR. I need to sell some of my other bikes, like the S2, the Honda Ft 500, and the Honda 90. I will always keep my M2 and my Triumph Bonneville though. REX | ||

Carey, I'm off the next 3days,so I'm available anytime. Starting Sunday night, I'm working the next 12 nites in a row. UGH! I'm thinking of taking a ride up to Prescott on Friday. Rex, you would sell your S2? Don't you have two of them? I only ride mine to the gatherings anymore, but they are still the most beautiful Buells ever made.  Since I installed the Erik Buell Racing race ECM in the CR it is by far the best running, and handling Buell I've owned. I'm loving this bike, just wish I had better wind protection. | ||

I've been reading a lot about the Race ECM and what it does for the motorcycle. Once I get on the CR and start riding it, I love it and do not want to sell it....But, I probably do not need it. Price, I don't know...we would need to talk. FT 500. it is pretty good. I had the local mechanic in Oklahoma put a new cam in it and clean out the carb, etc. It looks great. Probably needs some tuning to make it run perfect. I have had 4-5 of these bikes. I have had a 8 and 9, I have had a 2-3 on a scale of 1-10. This one is probably a 5-6. If the motor was running a little better it would be an 8-9. I can ride it around town, but wouldn't take off on a couple of hundred mile trip. Here is a photo.  The Red S2. Nice bike, just do not ride it much.  The Black CR. Really a nice bike. Around 2,000 miles on it now. Sliders on the front and rear axles, lowered foot pegs, exhaust tips, Carbon fiber belt buckle tank protector, new caps on the brake and clutch reservoirs, ordered new levers off of ebay. New tank logos  The Ft 500 is in Oklahoma. probably would need to ask $950.    The Red S2 I would probably need to sell for $4,500. The White S2 is being restored. The body work is getting all new paint... |
