You guys should follow the Windy City thread, they do rides and are from the same area. I go with them when possible, I'm from Ottawa, so Starved Rock is my backyard : )

Dave,

Great roads, beautiful area. The only problem is that it's such a long trip just get out there. We got chased out by heavy weather almost immediately after getting there, but even outrunning the storm was fun.

Another rider, who didn't go with us, dropped by the restaurant just to say hello. Good times.

There are still a lot if weekends between now and the first snow !

another one here. just got a 1125cr. ugh, traffic yesterday was so bad i wanted to poke my friggin' eyes out. good thing i had a visor, otherwise i might have been able to reach my eyeballs. cheers all!!

I have my daughter this weekend.

...Shame on me for not posting last Friday. I rode to Racine and Uke's Saturday morning for some parts for the S2. Kinda last minute but I should of gave a shout out.

I'm sorry this has been a long and busy summer. I think I've only gotten 1500 miles on my bike : ( but I'm down for sunday. It would have to after lunch though I have to run sound at church this week. Keep me posted!

  1. Meet LoneWolfBuell (maybe others) in Downers Grove approx 8:30.
  2. Get to Utica as fast as possible
  3. Maybe meet up with several locals.
  4. Ride, ride, ride

Me, too. I'm hoping it gets this rain thing out of its system today. They're saying 20% chance of rain early. I see that as 80% chance of good weather, but we'll see.

I've traded coordinates with LoneWolf and Shoob, but we haven't established a go/nogo time.
