Hi guys, I just received my Race ECM and I just can't wait... But my 1125CR '09 will have it's first (620 miles) service in 5 days. What is a wise thing to do? Switch ECM now, Let the dealer do the switch while doing the 620 ml service or do the swap myself after the service? Dennis |

Swap after service. It'd only be an excuse for the dealer to NOT warranty any problems if they know it's there. |

Swap after the service, and put your stocker (OEM) back in whenever it goes back for anything. Otherwise you're asking for warranty coverage grief, not to mention the dealer might accidentally reflash your E B R unit to the factory version. Mike |

+3 on above. Swap it yourself (super easy), and maybe don't mention it to the shop at all. JM |

Swap it now .... do your own 620 mile service .. screw paying the dealer all that $$$ for an oil change!! Never bring it to the the dealer with the Race ECM installed. They will know immediately it's installed because the race ECM does not flash LOW COOLANT TEMP warning at startup. |

I dropped my CR off for warranty work with the Race ECM, they didn't care. They even cleared the old fault codes that I was too lazy to clear myself. |

How do you clear the codes? Mine has a crap load of codes in there ... I guess from the Stator harness install ... |
