http://www.badweatherbikers.com/cgibin/discus/show .cgi?tpc=37&post=1863271#POST1863271 Not sure if some of you guys are interested in venturing into northern New Mexico, but check out our rally. We've done it every year since at least the late 1990's. Southwest Buell Rally - Red River, NM August 27-29, 2010 Hope to see some of you there!! |

I would love to do it. I am doing six Buell events this year, and yours is a heck of a long way out from East Tennessee! I can only get out for three or four days at a time for ride/events this year. Perhaps next year will allow a real vacation of a week or more at a time. |

I'd love to go, but I'm not sure my '06 Uly would make it there. Ride report from last Sunday forthcoming... --Doc |

Ouch... that's not good news, Doc. Any chance you'll be on the Ducati by then? This is not an exclusively Buell event. There will be several other brands including Ducati and Triumph. And my 17-year-old son on his SV650. Hope you get to make it. |

Well, there's the exact bike I'm waiting on right now on the floor unsold at Northern Colorado Euro Motorcycles, but I'd really rather stay local. I'm told I'll have it by the end of July but the dealers don't really know anything. Who knows, I might roll the dice and take the Uly! --Doc |

Go get the bike in Colorado!I would not wait on the word of a dealer. Go get the bike in Colorado and you will be grinning the whole way home and throughout the rest of the year! |

Well, I assume that you're going through PJ's since as far as I know, they're the only Ducati dealer in our area. That being the case, I'm interested in your feedback about the dealership. I have friends who've bought Triumphs and Ducatis, but they also race and I think the level of support for those folks is possibly different from what the average customer gets. What are you doing this weekend? Maybe a check ride is in order? My XT hasn't been up the High Road yet, believe it or not. |

Check out the main thread in Storm Fronts (link above). We've already got nine or ten bikes confirmed and several more that should confirm this week. This is already turning out to be bigger than last year I can tell you there are few places in North America that compare to Northern New Mexico and Southern Colorado for twisties and fun. If you are within 1000 miles, you should try to make it. |

This rally is up to twenty bikes and 26 people. It's gonna be a good time! The weather is always nice in late August and the roads are amazing. Seriously. You should come out if you can. |
