What is up with the schrader valve on the Showa monoshock? Are you ever supposed to check/adjust the pressure? Couldn’t find anything about it in the shop manual. |

Most cartridge shocks are charged with nitrogen. A suspension guy will know what to do with that. |

Well...I am my suspension guy. LOL What pressure should I expect, not that I have any nitrogen. It seems to me that shock pressuer would be the first place to start when tuning in the suspension in that a change in shock pressure would affect all other adjustments. Kind of like tyre pressure. |

It's been a while since I rebuilt a shock, but I believe the shock is under pressure to reduce the size of any air bubbles that might be inside. Pressure is not used as a tuning tool. Then again, I could be wrong. |
