The shock has 15 click low speed compression damping. 11 click high speed compression damping. 12 click rebound adjustment along with stepless preload adjustment. There is no ride height adjustment. It was made in a custom 17" length and sprung for a 120lb. It brings the back down about 1". The shock was serviced at AST in Belgium, for a recall on the rear mount eye, at which time it was fully disassembled and cleaned. They apparently had one fail and recalled them all. This was done about a year ago before I bought the shock. I was going to install it on my S1 but have decide to sell all my Buell stuff and finish my car. The guy who bought it new said he had about 600mi. on it when it was recalled.
