My 2000 S3 is equipped with the rather longish factory mirrors on the stalk. Needless to say, the vibration of the bike makes them pretty useless, until you get the revs up. I was looking at the photos that another member posted of this year's Homecoming (really nice, BTW) and noticed that a few of the S-models have what looks like a much sturdier mirror. Are these factory-supplied on the earlier S? Will they fit the S3? Have any of the other Members replaced the 'vibrators' with something aftermarket, and if so, which are the direct fit? Any help would be much appreciated. DW |

Don't know what you saw, but there was a green S3T at Homecoming with Firebolt mirrors on it. |

I'm running Hayabusa mirrors on my RS, bought them in a box of stuff and thought I'd try them. One of the best mods I've made in all these years. |

You can buy knockoff mirrors cheap, but the mirror isn't as clear as nos Suzuki. (Message edited by Rich on June 30, 2010) (Message edited by Rich on June 30, 2010) |
