After changing my oil I'm noticing a strange ticking sound coming from what appears to be the front of the bike. If I take off slow I hear it start to tick as I go faster the ticking speeds up until the engine noise/wind drowns it out. HD told me I need to put more oil in it. I told them I put in 3 quarts and thats as far as that conversation went. Any ideas what it could be? |

Yes and it just touches the stick. From what I've read most people put in 3 and call it good. |

I have the same ticking with Mobil 1 V-twin 20w50 as well. Maybe I should change to a different oil... |

Mine does it and I use the Syn3. Sounds like when I had a Ninja and the valves were all outta wack. |

I have the tick too. I use Amsoil 20w50. Usually I wear ear plugs and I don't hear it, so I have no idea how long it has ticked. |
