Author Message   Marcodesade Posted on Friday, June 25, 2010 - 04:12 pm:        I lowsided my 08 1125R and am in the middle of insurance replacing a bunch of stuff. Of course I'm going to try to get something out of it but I don't really know what the going rate is for crashed parts, and really whatever I can get for the stuff is better than putting it in the dumpster. Much of it can be seen on the 1125 Forum under the title "So Bummed . . ." http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/290 431/573869.html?1276713432 Here's what I have: Black front fairing (rashed but intact) Left Support Bracket for front fairing (probably OK but they always change it out) 1 Handlebar (looks straight but grip, bar end, and clutch lever are damaged) Left side pod (rashed and separated; usefulness is suspect) Airbox cover (very mildly rashed, probably easily buffed) Tail fairing (moderate rashing, repair possible or great for the track) Pillion Cowl (probably track only) Belt and rear sprocket (look fine to me; repair shop says better safe than sorry and insurance agrees) Swingarm (blue) (couple of cosmetic scratches; leave as is, or powdercoat and it's good as new) Stator cover (cosmetic scatches only) Left side rider footpeg and support (I can't see any damage at all) Left side passenger footpeg and support (ditto) I have part numbers and list prices for the new pieces if you're interested; like I said, I have no idea what the used stuff is worth. Make an offer on any or all of it.
