All 2008 Buells were anniversary editions. I do not have the specific breakdowns by model/year to check that number though. Needless to say, they made more anniversary editions than standard non. |

the 1125CR's are even more rare as about 3000 total of those were built.. |

My 08 is an Eddie Buell signature series, the only one they sold to me so it's kinda rare. |

So how many people have both a CR and R? That must be a rare combination. (I don't, but I know a guy....) |

My question is, Why? I know the gearing is slightly different, but does it result in enough performance difference to have essentially 2 of the same bike? I can understand if you don't keep one stock and add lower fairings, and make it a total track bike. Other than that, is it just a "collector" issue? |

I am one of many.

More than you realize. I hate the CR for anything over 50mph, so I prefer my R for the slab. The CR feels like it needs another gear when on the highway, then the lack of a fairing turns you into a kite. |

Really, I have no problem running 120km/h all day on my CR, big improvement was Gas's windscreen. Highbars, and 120km/h for 5 hours not a problem. I'm still looking for the 2010 numbers, how many of each bike was produced. (Message edited by dixopr on June 24, 2010) |

someone said somewhere on here that there were only like 14 2010 R's made dunno how accurate that is. i am also curious if the 5836 number is just 08's or if it includes 08-10 if it's all three of those how many are 08's? |

I think there was 3316 of the 2008 1125R built. (Going based on the brake line recall, which AFAIK affected all of them.) |
