I've seen it posted here that it was going to have ABS. Anybody gleaned any other info? |

I didn't even think to ask when I was talking to those in the know the other day. Either way, I imagine we will be seeing a return of the Uly sooner rather than later |

I had a friend in college who lusted after a girl but never acted on it. A few years later, he learned that she had the hots for him too. He's been miserable ever since contemplating what might have been. Do you really want to open yourselves up to a similar misery by knowing what could have been in the future Uly? |

Well, the difference is we'd act on it if we had the chance. |

I had many girlfriends and got it over with very efficiently. If one cannot act on it, having many bikes is a good way to avoid the misery part... |

I hope Erik Buell Racing has plans to resurrect the Uly too! I love my 06 but have always been amazed with what Buell comes up with next. For better or worse I am a Bueller for life now! I think evolving the Uly into being a hard core adventure bike would make more sense than trying to continue the "Dual Sport" motif. Erik Buell Racing's efforts could be better spent developing a separate true "kick ass" touring bike than trying to have the uly fill both niches. Just my worthless opinion! |

1- wish the Uly looked like that to begin with, and the ac 1125 engine too. 2-the 1125R should have had those fairings to begin with I hate when manufacturers half-ass the first few designs and hold out the good stuff for later models! Erik could have done full fairing right off the bat. |

No he couldn't. He tried to but the mothership wouldn't allow that. |

Hey Froggy. Is it real or is it a photoshop? Looks real to me but I'm no expert. By the looks of the pipes and the pin striping on the fairing, it seems real to me. How can those features be photoshopped? |

just to torture ourselves... what is the weight/dimensional difference between the 1125 motor and the Uly motor ? |

I think the front collector on the exhaust header gives it away as photoshop.... it gets too thin. |

If it can be done this well in photoshop I'm sure Erik Buell Racing can make the real thing come to fruition! I like the idea of an 1125 based sport touring machine too! |

The dead give away was the shadow under the wheels, its not under but behind. Look at many of the wallpapers on Bikewalls http://www.bikewalls.com/motorcycles/Buell_wallpap ers You can see they were playing with a Uly and a 1125 and did some good splicing. The artist did a fantastic job though. |

OK - Its time to place bets - I say its real, despite the shadows - the pipe is a one/off - the pin striping on the fairing nails it. One Dollar on the board. The bike is hidden - WI or Canada - under a Can Am roof! One more dollar on the board - Place a bet - whoever gets 1st dibs - the bet's on - I'll mail you a dollar or two if I lose - you mail me a dollar or two if I win. Court calls the ball - Anybody game? |
