I have a real nice 08 1200r sportster that i had for sale . I now have someone wanting to trade a 09 1125r for it . his bike is like new with 380 miles on it and has 20 months of the factory warranty left . Would this be a good deal ? |

I would trade in a heart beat! My father-in-law as well as my brother-in-law have the sporty 1200s and I have ridden them both. While I think they are ok bikes, I would never trade my 1125R for one. I take it for a spin and see if you like the throttle response and agility that the 1125R offers and compare your bike to it. If you like it, trade it! |

Just make sure your ready for real power, the 1125R is no sissy bike! If I had the sporty id say quit pulling my leg because the tittle is signed and dated all ready. |

Take that 1125r for a ride first and make sure you like it before you trade. It has almost twice the horsepower the Sportster has but the ride and handling are way different. I bought my 1125r as a second motorcycle and won't even think of taking it on a long trip, but the fun factor and performance made me fall in love with it. If you do like it, then go for it!!! |

You would probably like a 2009 1125CR (Red) with the high bar kit and lowered rider footpegs, which is much more comfortable than an "R" 800 miles and pristine. First dealer service with clutch seal fix and stator fix just finished. PM me! SW Missouri |
